Conduct Assurance Data Analyst

Knowledge

Good understanding of Conduct Risk and the FCA’s conduct focus

Ability to use the appropriate software to capture, analyse and report data

Provide support to the Conduct Assurance Manager by inputting, managing and analysing company and employee data in order to identify potential areas of conduct risk, trends, exceptions and potential improvements

Develop and maintain up-to-date working knowledge of the brands that make up the Atlanta group of companies in order to assist with the identification of potential areas of conduct risk

Strong understanding of data analytics

Work with the Head of Conduct Assurance to ensure that the Conduct Risk Dashboard and any associated reports are updated and maintained in accordance with the relevant reporting cycles, developing the functionality and data sources of the reports as necessary

Present conclusions and recommendations to operational stakeholders in respect of their first-line control environments to reduce the risk of customer detriment

Skills

Working in a regulated environment, preferably within the Financial Services sector, preferably in the insurance sector

Proven ability to build and sustain strong professional relationships with internal/external stakeholders

As the Conduct Assurance Data Analyst, you are responsible for collecting, validating, analysing and reporting the data required to drive and support the activities of the Conduct Assurance function as well as carrying out assurance reviews as required.

Assist the Conduct Assurance Manager in the planning of assurance activities through trend analysis and exception reporting

Work across the Conduct Assurance function (including Quality Assurance and Customer Insight as necessary) to create and manage ad-hoc and routine reporting requirements

Commercial awareness and ability to apply a pragmatic approach to risk management
