Quality Assurance Manager

Knowledge

Strong working knowledge of the FCA’s principles, guidance and rules

Good working knowledge of risk frameworks and organisational processes

Commercial awareness and ability to apply a pragmatic approach to risk management

Proven ability to understand, identify and pragmatically influence a proportional approach to risk management

Carrying out thematic reviews and outcome testing to provide assurance that Atlanta and/or the specific business units within the organisation are delivering fair and appropriate outcomes to customers and providing positive customer experience.

Strong understanding of audit/assurance practice

Strong working knowledge of risk management

Skills

Working in a regulated environment, preferably within the Financial Services sector, preferably in the insurance sector

Working with the Head of Conduct Assurance and key stakeholders from across the organisation to develop and maintain a risk based Conduct Assurance Review Plan

Proven ability to build and sustain strong professional relationships with internal/external stakeholders

Oversee and manage the team’s Conduct Assurance activities to ensure that reviews are correctly scoped and investigated, and that findings and recommendations are accurate, measured and focus on the delivery of good customer outcomes

Develop and maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of the brands that make up the Atlanta group of companies in order to assist with the identification of potential areas of conduct risk and the planning of assurance activities

Effectively plan, organise and monitor daily activities and workloads of the Conduct Assurance team

Oversee the implementation of remedial actions and recommendations required to mitigate conduct risks, to agreed timescales
