Sales Op Key Accounts Support Manager


An exceptional track record in sales operations and sales management in an insurance or FS business.

PC skills, as a minimum able to use Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel

Own sales controls, governance and audit processes and documenting these, ensuring sales managers remain on track of necessary reporting and issues including but not limited to E&O, Claims, Complaints, Agency & Commission queries.

Establish high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency in planning, forecasting and budgeting approaches used by the sales team.

Ownership of sales contracts, new contract creation, amending contracts where required, liaising with group legal, customers and internal stakeholders where needed. Flagging any key contract variations and nuances, commercial terms and reviews that need doing. Keeping a documented log of these.

Ensure all Key Accounts are kept up to date on any issues every 24 hours.

Implement and maintain all agreed procedures and processes in a compliant, efficient and cost-effective manner suggesting ideas for improvements and savings.


Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels and make sound decisions.

Ability to work collaboratively with other senior stakeholders and work independently when required.

Ability to present to key stakeholders and chair senior meetings.

Ensure all project related tasks are articulated to team, actioned and undertaken accurately within timescales. Base reasoning on fact not fiction.

Regular recommendations for improvements to processes/report and changes to strategy from MI analysis that increase sales performance or profitability.
