Knowledge

Experience of working in a Finance function

Experience of working in a Financial Services environment

Business Performance

Processing payments using Commercial Banking Online system

Experience of Dynamics 365 and/or SUN reporting systems

IT knowledge

Ensure that financial records are complete, payments are processed correctly, and reconciliations are produced accurately

Assist in the reporting of monthly results

Producing other periodic financial reporting

Producing year-end information for the external auditors and resolving external auditor queries

AAT or similar Finance qualification

Skills

Produce regular Insurer and Office bank account reconciliations

Reconciliation of card payments to cash book

Reconciling balance sheet accounts

Good numerical and analytical skills

Communication Skills

Work to deadlines in the production of accurate and timely financial reporting

Produce monthly insurer bordereaux and commission payments

Accuracy of financial data provided externally, including insurer bordereaux

Numeracy & Literacy

Producing year-end information for the external auditors and resolving external auditor queries

Good system skills including Microsoft Excel

Handling payment queries from internal teams and bank

Customer focus

Decision Making & Assertiveness

Handling insurer queries arising from the monthly bordereau

Implementing changes to insurer bordereau reports as agreed with insurers
