Finance Operations Manager


To support the External Acquisitions and Internal Book Transfers / System Migration in Atlanta by contributing to Project Meetings and assisting with any requirements /controls / processes to support the move

To ensure the delivery of our customers' needs and expectations by ensuring that all of the department systems are accurately maintained and departmental procedures are followed

Facilitate the delivery of outstanding and consistent customer service across all business areas, to ensure satisfactory customer outcomes and develop customer loyalty

To ensure the delivery of all agreed service standards and deadlines for activities included but not limited to Financial Processing, Customer Accounts(Legacy and Current platforms ), Close Funding Management, Credit & Recoveries Activities, Insurer requests and Customer & Client Money are adhered to

To support the Month End postings of Income and other Ad Hoc postings within the 3 day deadline

To assist External Auditors with the Annual Audits


The ability to probe and assimilate information to check accuracy and relevance when building a full picture in respect of tasks and issues

Manage the investigations, identifying trends, analysis and problem solving

Strong relationship building skills

Clear and confident communication skills

Experience in managing and supporting teams

Through effective Performance Management, effectively manage and develop the team to deliver targets as appropriate

Effectively plan and organise the teams daily activities and workloads

Effectively handle and if necessary escalate, complaints in line with Atlanta’s complaints handling procedure in order to ensure fair customer outcomes and to protect Atlanta’s reputation

Escalation of any breaches/issues/concerns through the appropriate process

Understands the need for, and is able to develop, a good working relationship across the business, working well with people at all levels

To provide support to the Financial Controller/ Senior Finance Operations manager where required included but not limited to attendance at project meetings, ad-hoc project work and meetings with external contacts


Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Flexibility to operate in a changing environment

Willingness to share knowledge and skills with members of the team through coaching and mentoring

Sees tasks through to completion and consistently achieves objectives and deadlines

Proven track record in a target driven environment
