Proven track record in a target driven environment

To provide professional and efficient specialist support in a multi-skilled environment to Internal and External customers including but not limited to Customers, Insurers, Other head office departments, the Retail and Atlanta Business Network and Contact Centres.

Apply specialist/technical knowledge in supporting colleagues and customers with escalated queries

To ensure the delivery of all agreed service standards and deadlines for activities included but not limited to Financial Processing, Customer Accounts(Legacy and Strata), Insurer requests and Customer & Client Money are adhered to

Through effective Performance Management, effectively manage and develop a team of Finance Operations to deliver targets as appropriate

Assisting with processing and reconciliation of complex transactions

Completing balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner, ensuring that there is adequate backup for balances and that all open items are cleared within agreed timescales.

Assist with Daily Banking and Bank Reconciliations

Oversee the Insurer Statement Reconciliation / Bordereau and Insurer payment processes

Support the Close Funding Reconciliation on the PAS

Skills

Assisting in investigations, identifying trends, analysis and problem solving

Strong relationship building skills

Clear and confident communication skills

Escalation of any breaches/issues/concerns through the appropriate process

Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with departmental guidance to ensure accuracy and control around balance sheet items

Reconcile Overrider received against the MI report and Investigate any discrepancies

The ability to probe and assimilate information to check accuracy and relevance when building a full picture in respect of tasks and issues

Effectively handle and if necessary escalate, complaints in line with Atlanta’s complaints handling procedure in order to ensure fair customer outcomes and to protect Atlanta’s reputation
