Support the annual statutory audit particularly with respect to revenue, insurance debtors and insurance creditors

Support key Atlanta projects including the implementation of Active Ops, trade and assets transfers, book purchases and Policy Admin System Consolidation

Ensure the Director of Controllership and Finance Director are well informed of status and developments within Finance Operations by providing regular updates

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Implement a structured process of cross training across team members so as to reduce key person dependency and enhance operational resilience

A role model demonstrating strong leadership skills

Strong track record of leading large Finance Operations teams in complex organisations

Manage a large team of Finance Operations professionals ensuring roles and responsibilities are well defined so that all key deliverables are met.

Put in place robust resource planning to take into consideration annual leave, training, downtime etc ensuring adequate resource is available to meet SLAs

Demonstrated experience of working to defined SLAs

Demonstrated experience in prioritising, managing multiple deliverables & stakeholders

Manage and coach team members helping them to grow and become experts in their respective areas

Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
