Business Development Manager


Generate high volumes of quality new business leads by developing an in depth understanding of the Motorhome and Caravan business community, identifying and optimising opportunities for insurance

Experience of working in insurance / caravan/MH industry

Cert CII (Desirable)

Proven experience of building and maintaining remote networks and relationships

Proven experience managing internal stakeholder relationships

Ensure credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and trends, our existing and new products and competitor products and services


Evaluate product performance analysis with appropriate recommendation where required including product value / conduct risk KPIs

Maintain timely contact with all Introducers to establish good working relationships and deliver a high level of Client service

Actively pursue, build and maintain a strong network of business contacts – of potential clients and industry cohorts

To achieve or exceed agreed targets by: prospecting for, identifying and developing new business opportunities in target market sectors

Take ownership of complex issues through to resolution

Develop and implement long term strategic new business generation plans, in conjunction with the Manager / Head of Niche Products

To safeguard information, paying particular attention to customer and employee data and business sensitive information

Adherence to Business Standards


Maintain a positive and solution oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.

To actively support and encourage at all times, compliance with our quality principles, company policies and best practice in security, legal and regulatory requirements

Proactive with the ability to drive continuous improvements
