Knowledge
Support the Financial Controller, Group Financial Accounting and Group Technical Accounting for example on adoption of accounting standards
Practical experience of similar businesses within the Financial Services Sector, with reference to General Insurance
Extensive experience of advanced Excel modelling
Proficient in the use of other Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Project)
Demonstrable knowledge of financial services environment, including relevant regulation
Help to ensure all financial and regulatory reporting is compliant with relevant accounting standards, regulatory guidelines, Group policies and and Group Business Standards.
Accredited professional (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
Strong and current technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP and IFRS)
Extensive experience of financial reporting systems (Dynamics 365, SUN)
Deep domain expertise with excellent technical accounting skills

Support the Atlanta Finance team by creating for shared use standardised financial reporting models / files to simplify and accelerate financial reporting processes and reconciliation processes
Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrable experience in prioritising, managing multiple deliverables & stakeholders

Support the enhancment of the financial control environment including maintaining appropriate and effective accounting systems, controls, records and monitoring mechanisms.
