Detailed knowledge of marketing planning methods
Experience of working in the Financial Services industry
You will be responsible for ensuring all marketing activity is regularly reviewed, and for confirming that the department’s performance targets are being achieved.
Your role will require you to manage a range of activities designed to help optimise marketing effectiveness across all strands of marketing activity.
Act as the subject matter expert for Marketing on key metrics such as LTV and costs, challenging and agreeing definitions with other departments as required
Skills
Co-ordinate and manage the capacity planning between Marketing and Operations
Define, monitor, analyse and evaluate relevant and meaningful MI, and produce practical recommendations for change
Proven influencing skills to both internal and external stakeholders
Excellent attention to detail and deliver with a high level of accuracy
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Drive innovation, challenge marketing owners/streams and deliver positive improvements across marketing activities to agreed KPI’s or success criteria e.g. ROI
Represent the Marketing department in planning and budget meetings as appropriate, and play a pivotal role in determining detailed marketing budgets and forecasts with other areas of the business e.g. Finance. Ensure Finance and Marketing reporting of spend reconcile on a month-by-month basis
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Proficient at managing budgetary and financial information
Oversee the work, performance and development of a direct report (Planning and Performance Executive)
Appoint and manage key partnerships with external suppliers as required (e.g. in support of measurement of performance of marketing activity)
You will be a key input into the continuous development of reporting dashboards and MI relating to marketing activity.
