Head of Reward

Knowledge

Extensive knowledge of current and emerging reward practice, including knowledge of fixed and variable pay, reward frameworks and managing annual reward cycle

Knowledge of benchmarking methodologies

Reward related qualification or other highly numerate qualification to degree level preferable

Excellent analytical and data visualisation skills with the ability to digest data and provide insightful and commercial analysis

Knowledge of FCA legislation and regulations regarding incentives, bonus schemes, pensions, GPG reporting, national minimum wage and tax

Knowledge of working in a regulated environment

Ability to challenge current practices and identify more efficient solutions

Knowledge of benchmarking methodologies

Skills

Lead on, develop and execute the Atlanta reward strategy aligned to both people and business strategies

Lead of executive remuneration matters providing detailed insight and recommendations for RemCo

Continually develop the reward framework that is flexible and scales as the business grows

Lead from a reward perspective any change projects such as benefits harmonisation, reward framework, remuneration and incentive proposition

Own and develop the grading and job framework ensuring timely job evaluation and benchmarking of roles at all levels

Work with Resourcing and People Partners to ensure job levels, titles and remuneration are internally consistent and appropriate for the various functions and teams.

Maintain a good understanding of external market, compensation and benefits offered by leading employers

Ownership of job grading framework, incentives/bonus plans, annual appraisal processes and cyclical processes

Review the Group benefits scheme to ensure competitiveness, good levels of service, value for money and synergy
