Business Continuity Manager

Knowledge

Extensive experience in a Business Continuity/Operational Resilience role and Crisis Management

Appropriate qualifications as identified by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) e.g. MBCI

Experience of managing Business Continuity programmes

Experience of full Business Continuity Lifecycle delivery

Strong knowledge in the production of formal policy/procedural type documentation

A sound understanding of business operating models within a financial services/insurance company

Solid understanding of ISO22301 and 27001

Experience of planning BC rehearsals and testing activities

Experience of working in a fast-paced commercial business with a significant frontline logistics element

Skills

Confidence in presenting information in a variety of media to clients and colleagues at all levels

Ability to promote the importance of business continuity planning

Ability to develop the organisations business critical path identifying acceptable recovery time, and recovery point objectives
