Payroll Manager

Knowledge

Responsible for the end to end payroll processing cycle ensure compliance of processes and prcedures - including PAYE calculations, pension calculations

Ensure reconcilitation on monthly reporting is completed and uploaded to various portals in a timely fashion

The processes and techniques for manual calculating

Knowledge of onboarding new business via M&A into payroll function

Leveraging the use of HRIS systems/payroll and business knowledge to add value

Knowledge of managing own time and that of others effectively

Act as point of escalation for any complex payroll queries

Lead on promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the payroll team

Skills

Ensure year end process is carried out across Atlanta with all appropriate reporting submission to HMRC

Lead on process on accurate payments to governing bodies, to minimise risk across Atlanta

Influencing without authority

Maintain strong working partnerships with senior operational leaders by helping to shape their people plan and providing appropriate challenge to ensure that the best possible outcomes are achieved

Act as point of escalating to investigate errors in payroll with a view to seek resolution and feedback to relevant stakeholders
