Marketing degree or equivalent
Business acumen
Obtain insight to evaluate the success of overall marketing campaigns, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed and make recommendations for improvement.
Lead research in order to ensure the marketing team and wider business truly understand our customers and keep up to date with customer needs/wants and trends, as well as trying to predict future trends
Develop messaging and framework to drive campaign activity and segmentation to ensure that our marketing activity meets customers’ (intermediary and end consumer) expectations and they have positive associations with the brand.
Skills
Promote a good understanding of the contribution to business objectives made by marketing
Develop strategies to support the business in the acquisition of new customers but also considering the nurture and retention of existing customers.
Team management skills
Support the Marketing Manager with the development of other team members
Customer focus
Ensure that expectations are managed, all agreed timescales are met and that remedial action is taken if plans slip
Ensure the effective management of marketing agencies ensuring value for money
Create and implement robust brand plans
Deliver quality marketing materials within brand which has input and sign off by the relevant departments
Support the production of weekly/monthly reporting for relevant meetings such as trading, Excom and team meetings
Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office
