Creative Design Manager

Knowledge

Graphic design qualification

Experience in commissioning illustration and photography

Perceptive about graphic design and software developments

Experience in a marketing/internal communications environment (Desirable)

Financial services experience (Desirable)

Finance industry knowledge (Desirable)

Keeping abreast and up to date on multimedia packages required for fulfilling graphic requirements

Take responsibility for the evolution of Paymentshield brand guidelines to ensure that PSL marketing communications reflect and reinforce the company’s core values – ensuring the brand remains visually fresh, contemporary and forward thinking

Skills

Be responsible for the generation of concepts and implementation of design solutions that support the delivery of marketing strategies

Good interpersonal and presentational (of design work) skills

Experience of delivering

Ensure quality results and value for money for the business by liaising with third party providers and agencies as and when needed such as briefing external creative agencies and negotiating with printers, organising print, production and final distribution as required

To keep accurate administrative and digital records for all jobs worked on

A high level of proficiency in design, web and multimedia software and applications, such as Quark Xpress, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.

Knowledge of printing procedures, photography, illustration and verbal and written communication.

Should also be able to work with excel, word, outlook and PowerPoint within Macintosh operating systems

Meeting Marketing/Internal comms brief requirements through design concepts and treatment to final design within deadline e.g. newsletters, brochures, emails, web landing pages, print and multi media, conference stands, presentation templates etc

Set the vision and direction of the creative design team along with the Head of Marketing

Creation, ideation, and managing of innovative, high quality designs and visuals across marketing campaigns and communications ensuring brand consistency

Manage the Graphic Designer and Motion Graphics Artist and help them progress and level up

Recommend and implement creative solutions to ensure that Paymentshield’s communications remain, fresh, topical and innovative
