Process Transformation Specialist

Knowledge

Process engineering / design and delivery experience to support strategic projects

Actively drive project deliverables and report progress to the Transformation Lead

Facilitate appropriate project governance including leading working groups and aligning to broader steering groups for decision making

Coach and mentor members of the team through DMAIC projects, securing benefits and where applicable Green Belt certification

Define and manage risks, issues and key dependencies – identifying mitigating actions to prevent risk events recurring

Commercial / benefits focused with track record of delivering and realising benefits on sizeable projects (>0.5m)

Good knowledge of insurance industry, products and services

Significant experience in Change and Process Improvement

Working knowledge of a range of general insurance processes from New Business, Customer Service processes and Renewals / Retention

Lean Six Sigma skillset and certification to Blackbelt level

Skills

Design and facilitate meetings and workshops as required to engage stakeholders and SMEs in projects, leverage experience and ensure buy-in to solutions and outcomes

Support the Transformation Lead alongside Operations Directors and other stakeholders in identifying and scoping initiatives aligning to strategy 

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Build effective relationships across key stakeholder groups, influencing resourcing needs outside of the transformation function

Stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels up to C-level

Project Management skills  and create rigorous project plans

Work closely with ISS / Change team where solutions require IT Rapid change or Robotic Process Automation support

Advanced Excel, IT Development lifecycle / Agile

Microsoft Visio and BPML standard template/symbols

Shape approach and use appropriate areas of your toolkit from Lean Six Sigma (including DFSS where applicable) to deliver key initiatives in a logical and data driven manner
